Working on empathy through the story "The rabbit listened" by Cori Doerrfeld

In this session, we will watch the storybook video above, so it's a nice one to work on the understanding of difficult emotions, developing empathy and also we can use it as a modelling role to teach our students how to support a friend.

Working on reading, speaking and listening skills

Taking advantage of the fact that in the story we have seen in this session a rabbit appears as a main character, we will play a reading game in the classroom called "word hunt" where our students will decide different actions that the rabbit will do during his journey along the woods.

By playing this game we can also introduce new vocabulary.
